Vintage 1969 modernist smoke colored plastic cube ice bucket designed in Italy by Mellochi and Bettonica of Cini & Nils. The piece has a round removable lid that sits flush against the top. A metal rod in a groove serves as a hinge to easily open and close the lid. There is a removeable dome insert inside the bucket. Stamped at the base "OPI Milano / Made in Italy. This ice bucket is featured in a 1972 MOMA publication "Italy: The New Domestic Landscape."
Condition: In excellent condition. Minor scratches and wear as pictured.
