Antique series of uniformly bound compact volumes of the works of Scottish novelist Sir Walter Scott. All 24 books are bound in brown limp leather with gilt stamped spines marking "The Works of Scott" individual title and volume number. End papers feature an Art Nouveau floral design around logo for the "New Century Library." The two-color frontispiece dates printing by Thomas Nelson and Sons to 1900 and features an illustration separated from the title page by a sheet of bound-in tissue.
Famous titles include Ivanhoe, Rob Roy, Old Mortality, Waverley, The Heart of Midlothian and The Bride of Lammermoor, all of which are included in this set.
Condition: In excellent condition. Minimal wear, varying with each volume.
