Hans Kleiss (1901-1973) was a painter, illustrator, and caricaturist. Along with his wife, painter Yvonne Kleiss-Herzig, he spent long periods of time in Morocco and Algeria depicting subjects there. They settled together in Sidi Slimane (Morocco) in the early 1950's before returning to France.
Condition: In excellent condition. Minor wear as pictured including a couple small spots of discoloration.
